This song was placed at number 7 in the United Kingdom and one the number in the United States on billboards. Rehab by Amy Winehouse became among the top 10 hit songs in the USA.

Rehab became a commercial success and an international critical success. It has been referred to as the Winehouse signature song. This song won 3 Grammy awards in the 5th century. It was also awarded as the record of the year, song of the year, and best female pop vocal performance.

Rehab by Amy Winehouse also won the best contemporary song award. Amy’s battle with alcohol and drugs and immediate death contributed to the song’s popularity and appearance in the media.

Amy Winehouse struggles a lot with substance addiction and abuse. She died because of alcohol poisoning. Amy died on 23rd July 2011 and she was 27 years old at the time of her death. After her death, her song back to black became the United Kingdom’s most-selling album of the 21st century.

Amy’s last words before her death were I don’t want to die. These words were said after a long period of struggle with alcohol when her doctor visited her the night before her death.

The song talks about Winehouse’s refusal to go to the rehabilitation center for treating her problems of alcohol addiction.  Her management team insisted on her a lot on many different occasions. She then asked her father if it was necessary for her to go. Her father said that it isn’t necessary but she could try once.

She decided to give it a try. She tried for 15 minutes and then she walked out. She then changed her management team after that and sang her own song named rehab. The lyrics said: “They tried to make me go to rehab, I said, no, no, no”.

Rehab by Amy Winehouse’s song won 3 Grammy awards in the 5th century. It was also said that this song has the highest record of the year. Rehab by Amy Winehouse beat many famous songs such as Rihanna’s umbrella song. Rehab also beat Delilah with plain white in the process.

Amy Winehouse decided not to go to rehab and she refuses to attend rehab for alcohol addiction. She died a few years later at the age of 27 which we can call a young age. This alcohol addiction was a problem. She refused to go to rehab and this addiction was the reason she wrote this famous song. Today Rehab by Amy Winehouse is among the top 10 famous songs in the United States.
